About the Role

We’re seeking a warm, motivated Speech Pathologist to join our growing paediatric therapy team. In this role, you'll work with a predominantly paediatric caseload (ages 2–17) with a small number of young adult clients (typically aged 18–22) who may be continuing therapy to support communication, learning, or transition-related needs.

You’ll receive weekly clinical supervision and mentoring from our Clinical Lead | Senior Speech Pathologist, ensuring you feel supported and confident across a varied caseload.

You’ll begin with a small group of waitlisted clients and grow your caseload at a sustainable pace, with plenty of opportunity to collaborate, learn, and develop your niche.

What You’ll Be Doing

Provide therapy to children and adolescents (2–17) and a small number of young adults (18–22), across clinic, school, and community settings.

Work across key clinical areas including:

Early intervention (ages 2–6)

Speech sound disorders

Language delays and disorders

Social communication

AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)

Literacy and phonological awareness

Conduct assessments, deliver therapy, and create goal-directed, family-centred reports and plans.

Collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists on co-managed clients, including occasional joint sessions.

Support local school initiatives through kindy/pre-primary screening programs and occasional school visits.

What We’re Looking For

A recognised qualification in Speech Pathology and current SPA registration.

At least 2-3 years of paediatric experience preferred – however, senior therapists looking for a senior role are also encouraged to apply

A team player with strong communication skills and a neuroaffirming, family-focused approach to therapy.

Confidence or interest in working with a small caseload of young adult clients transitioning out of paediatric services.
