We are looking for an excellent, dedicated and professional Early Childhood Assistant Educator who is motivated, passionate & enthusiastic about children.

Details of our HERO (Helps Every Room Out) / Float position:

POSITION: - is a full-time position covering in all age groups when room staff are on leave

It is essential for the applicant to have a Certificate 3 or above in Childcare or working towards it.

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (or studying with completion within 12 months)

Must hold a current blue card and First Aid/CPR certificate

Must hold current Asthma and Anaphylaxis management certifications

Be experienced, passionate and prepared to excel with children.

Have a solid understanding of NQF, My Time, Our Place &, EYLF.

Is knowledgeable about the Emergent Curriculum

We are also always seeking casual relief staff who are able to be on call to cover in all ages when/if our permanent staff are ill or needing time off.

Details of the Casual Relief

This is a casual position, and you could get offered various amounts of hours per week from 0 - 40hours.

You would need to be prepared to be on call and work flexible hours

Our Centre is open 6.30am until 6.30pm and we currently have 41 staff that may need time off for illness and holidays.

Please note a 6-month probationary period will apply. the successful applicant will be required to obtain a "suitability card" if they do not already have one. This will be renewed by the Centre after a min of 12 months of employment with the Centre

Further note: Consideration will only be given to applicants who are currently permanent residents of Australia and demonstrates proficiency in written and spoken English (minimum IELTS 7.0 or equivalent). Travel time will be considered when appointing the successful applicant.
