The Workforce Reporting function prepares regular and adhoc reporting to Department leaders and key stakeholders in a targeted and meaningful manner, enabling timely and informed decision making.

This role undertakes and manages data requests, providing specialist and accurate advice to internal customers in response to enquiries.

Key accountabilities:

• Undertake and manage data requests as directed.
• Provides information and guidance to internal customers on matters relating to the functional area to ensure the information supplied is accurate, relevant and resolves the request efficiently.
• Utilise technology applications and systems such as relevant HR systems (SAP and iSeries – a MS DOS-based system), TRIM, MS Office, and analysis and data visualisation tools such as Alteryx, MS Excel, MS SQL Server Management Studio, R, Python and MS POWER BI to deliver efficient and effective service to stakeholders.
• Support the delivery of evidence-based recommendations through the application of advanced analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills to support decision making
• Conduct valid and reliable analysis and research of education data to support the formulation of evidence-based recommendations to improve student outcomes.
• Contribute to the preparation of high-quality, persuasive material to support evidence-based recommendations.
• In consultation with the supervisor, develop an annual work plan that articulates, clarifies and documents the role’s specific responsibilities, key deliverables and indicators of success over a 12-month period.
