Early Childhood Educator - Full Time, Part Time or Casual

Choyces is a Child and Youth Community Services organisation which supports children and youth throughout various parts of their lives. We work with children as young as six weeks old, all the way through to early twenties. We provide multiple different programs which you can read about on our website, but this role will be to work primarily in our Early Learning space alongside our awesome team. We are located on 7 acres in Greenfields with a beautiful nature play area, horses over the fence and an abundance of trees. We are looking for someone who is experienced, self-motivated and committed who will be responsible for the care and education of our children in this space, working in conjunction with our team and Educational Leader.

We pride ourselves on our small room numbers, so you’re not overwhelmed with paperwork or huge numbers of children each day. Our maximum capacity is currently 21 children a day.

What you’ll bring:

Certificate III or Diploma in Early childhood

A valid working with children card

National Police Clearance

Experience working with children with diverse needs

Strong Pedagogical practice shaped by advocacy for children

A bright personality with good energy and strong work ethic

A passion for working in Early Childhood

What you’ll do:

Availability to work rotating rosters between 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday

You will be able to recognise and develop the strengths in children and your team

You will be able to build positive relationships with peers, families, and children

Sound understanding of health and safety in the early years

You will have passion and enthusiasm and will want to have fun
