$220k–$260k + Super | Site & Office Based

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a senior civil delivery professional to step into a high-impact Construction Manager / Project Director role, leading programs and people across a diverse portfolio of works. This position will operate in both site-based and strategic capacities, mentoring a team of capable Project Managers and overseeing delivery performance across multiple project streams.

You’ll work between field and office environments, providing strong leadership, commercial oversight, and project governance across civil, road, and mining infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and float across multiple live projects to provide support, governance and leadership
• Mentor, review, and support a group of high-performing Project Managers (young, capable, and technically sound)
• Manage project programming, resolve variation issues, and lead commercial troubleshooting
• Attend site operations 3 days per week (typically Tuesday to Thursday)
• Work from the office or home base on Monday and Friday (flexible to Brisbane or Sunshine Coast)
• Drive high safety, quality, and cost-control standards across delivery teams

Ideal Candidate

• 10+ years in civil infrastructure project delivery with 3–5 years at a Senior PM or CM level
• Solid TMR (Transport & Main Roads) project experience is essential
• Exposure to bulk earthworks and/or mining-related infrastructure preferred
• Strong commercial acumen across contracts, variations, scheduling and stakeholder engagement
• Proven leadership and mentoring ability – able to coach and develop younger PMs
• Confident communicator and problem solver, capable of floating across multiple priorities
