About the Role
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Program Leader - Engineering (AMCOE, Fabrication and Locksmithing) within the Construction team. This internal leadership role is ideal for an experienced VET educator ready to lead and support a diverse team of teachers across multiple campuses.
You'll play a key role in program coordination, compliance, scheduling, team development, and stakeholder engagement - helping shape quality outcomesfor our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide educational leadership across the Engineering, Fabrication and Locksmithing delivery areas
- Coordinate teaching operations including timetables, workloads and resources
- Support staff performance, development and team cohesion
- Oversee compliance with Training & Assessment Strategies (TAS) and audit requirements
- Engage with industry to validate and strengthen program relevance
- Monitor budgets and contribute to planning for financial sustainability
- Drive continuous improvement and student outcomes through quality delivery
Skills and Experience Required
- Relevant trade qualification in Engineering, Fabrication or Locksmithing
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
- Experience in VET delivery, ideally in a coordination or leadership capacity
- Strong understanding of RTO compliance and vocational education policy
- Demonstrated ability to lead, support and develop teaching teams
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate will be required to provide:
- A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A National Police Check
