The Burger Centre is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join their close-knit team onsite in Randwick.
At the heart of this role is exceptional customer service, as it focuses on supporting and coordinating the daily operations of the Burger Centre. Specifically, some of your key accountabilities will include:
- Coordinating reception and concierge duties along with transport requests
- Managing incoming phone calls
- Assisting with rostering
- Liaising with the kitchen to coordinate and communicate meal requirements
- Assisting in the smooth delivery of programs, outings, and catering services, and providing proactive administrative support across key operational areas
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Business Administration or similar
- Experience in aged care and in working within an Aged Care Environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to prioritise tasks
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and its implications for clients
- Intermediate to advanced IT skills
- Knowledge, sensitivity and an understanding of Jewish values, heritage and culture

About Montefiore
Sir Moses Montefiore Jewish Home (‘The Home’) is a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI) which has been providing aged care services since 1889.
The Home can lay proud claim to being one of the oldest and most distinguished organisations serving the Sydney Jewish Community.
Moses Montefiore, the man after which the Home was named, was born in Italy in 1774 whilst his parents were on a business trip. Living in England, he proved himself to be an astute businessman and quickly rose to prominence in British Society. He devoted his time and resources to community and civic affairs and to the welfare of the Jewish people.
Montefiore Home first opened its doors on 27 October 1889 in a small premises located at South Dowling Street, Moore Park. In 1924 the Home moved to Victoria Road, Bellevue Hill at which point it cared for 18 residents.
