Registered Nurse (RN) – Aged Care Facility

Role: Full-time permanent Registered Nurse
Shift: Fixed roster of day, afternoon, and night
Location: Grafton, NSW
Start Date: Immediately

About the Client:

Our client is an 83-bed facility with 20 bed dementia unit located within Grafton. The facility is operated by a Facility Manager, Clinical Care Coordinator, and Registered Nurses. There are 4 wings in the facility where each nurse will manage 2 wings with 40-43 residents. The RN is responsible for overnight of care plans for a set number of residents. We’re looking for someone who has at least 2 years of Australian aged care experience. Given the location of the facility, there are relocation and/or accommodation allowances that can be provided.

Your Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to our elderly residents. Your duties will include:

Providing clinical care and support to residents in line with individual care plans

Managing day-to-day clinical operations alongside our Facility Manager and Clinical Care Coordinator

Supervising and mentoring Enrolled Nurses and Care Staff

Monitoring residents’ health conditions and documenting care outcomes

Ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines

Key Selection Criteria:

Minimum RN2 Australian Aged care experience

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively within a team

A passion for providing high-quality care to older adults

Evidence of COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations.
