Join us as a Roving Security Officer where you will be responsible for ensuring security inspections are completed within assigned port areas whilst complying with security licence and legislative requirements.
Committed, collaborative and great with people — Here’s who we’re looking for:
- You hold a current Queensland security licence and a driver’s licence with experience undertaking security inspections within a commercial or operations environment.
- You will role model and promote Port of Brisbane’s Safety First health and safety culture with an understanding of risk and compliance and the ability to comply with the appropriate governance.
- You have an understanding of relevant legislation such Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Act (MTOFSA) 2003 and you ideally have a familiarity with the Maritime industry.
- You are an effective communicator with a focus on customer service.
- You are comfortable to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends.
