We’re looking for a commercially minded Data Engineer and Analyst to help us uncover actionable insights, optimise revenue and support cross-functional teams with accurate and timely reporting. You’ll sit at the intersection of data, marketing, and product – helping shape strategic direction through analytical rigor and business understanding.

Key Role Responsibilities

· Design and maintain dashboards and reporting suites using Power BI to track KPIs across marketing, sales, and operations.

· Write advanced SQL queries in BigQuery to extract, transform, and analyse large datasets from multiple sources.

· Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and customer lifetime value (LTV).

· Partner closely with marketing and commercial teams to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in campaign and channel performance.

· Support the build and optimisation of our data lake infrastructure, ensuring robust, scalable, and clean data pipelines.

· Leverage and integrate data from Salesforce, Shopify, GA4 and other systems to create a comprehensive view of customer behaviour and business performance.

· Contribute to experimentation and A/B testing analysis for product, pricing, and conversion rate initiatives.

Requirements

· 5-7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer/Analyst, ideally in a consumer eCommerce or DTC environment.

· Expertise in BigQuery and Power BI, with a portfolio of impactful dashboards and reports.

· Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering data insights that drive revenue and profitability.

· Deep understanding of eCommerce metrics including CAC, AOV, CLV, ROAS, and gross margin.

· Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets.

· Experience integrating data across tools such as Shopify, Salesforce, and GA4.

· Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear, business-friendly manner.

· Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.

· Experience helping to build or scale a data lake in a modern cloud-based architecture would be a plus.

· Familiarity with ETL tools and automated data workflows and understanding of attribution modelling, cohort analysis, and customer segmentation in an eCommerce context would be beneficial
