This Australian scale-up business is currently looking for a (Senior) Data Engineer to join their team. They can take on a Data Engineer or Senior Data Engineer, dependent on experience.

You will have a commercial and analytical mindset and enjoy getting your hands dirty exploring different data sets to provide new and exciting outcomes for the business and their clients.

From a tech stack perspective, you will be working with Excel, SQL, Snowflake, Tableau and Python. You will be responsible for data engineering, data modelling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data analytics.

Skill set / Experience needed -

• A Bachelor's degree or higher from in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or similar
• Over 5 years working with data and/or analytics
• Data Engineering, Data Modelling, and ETL skills
• Data Warehousing and Data Analytics experience
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with data analytics and integration platforms such as Snowflake & Tableau
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java
• Previous work on segmentations or other modelling is advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A start-up mentality, comfortable in a fast-paced, flexible and team-oriented environment
• Proven track record in using data assets to solve business problems
• Working with development and product teams
• Working with managers and C-level stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The business offers a hybrid working mode, with 3 days in office.
