The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Maintenance Plumber to join our team at Fast & Honest Plumbing in Northern suburbs Melbourne, VIC. As a Maintenance Plumber, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities by providing a wide range of plumbing services.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and maintaining fixtures and fittings

Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues and take appropriate action to resolve them

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on plumbing equipment and systems

Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and take proactive measures to address them

Maintain accurate records of all work performed and materials used

Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to coordinate and complete complex projects

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies

What We're Looking For

A valid plumbing registered/licensed and at least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Plumber

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of plumbing issues

Excellent time management and prioritisation skills to handle multiple tasks and emergency situations effectively

Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to provide clear updates and instructions to stakeholders

A commitment to safety and a demonstrated history of working in compliance with relevant regulations

A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with other trades and departments
