At Jane, we believe in creating memorable moments through thoughtful service and exceptional food — and we’re looking for a passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team and help lead that experience.
The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to immerse yourself in all aspects of restaurant operations, with a strong focus on service, team development, and day-to-day floor management.
You’ll work closely with our leadership team and kitchen to support smooth, efficient service, foster a positive team culture, and deliver outstanding guest experiences. You’ll also gain exposure to rostering, inventory, supplier relationships, and reporting — giving you a well-rounded foundation for future leadership roles.

Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences
You’ll lead by example, helping to create a warm, welcoming environment while maintaining high standards of service. You’ll guide guests through a menu that celebrates Australian produce, and ensure their experience is seamless from start to finish.
Be Involved Across the Business
In our small, tight-knit team, you’ll be hands-on in every part of the operation — from staff training and floor leadership, to ordering, stock control and daily admin. You’ll have input into how things run and the opportunity to shape systems and service standards.

What We’re Looking For
At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitality
A strong understanding of restaurant operations and guest service
Passion for Australian food, wine, and seasonal produce
Leadership qualities and the ability to support and motivate a small team
Excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
