CQUniversity is seeking a dedicated individual to provide support to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students and help them achieve their academic goals. Join our dynamic Student Service team and embrace our SPOT philosophy and customer service culture (Solutions-focused, Personalised, One University, Trust).

In this role within CQUniversity’s multi-channel student service centre, you will provide exceptional support to our students through phone, electronic communications, and face-to-face interactions. Your strong customer service skills and well-developed interpersonal abilities will enable you to be a friendly, supportive, and consistent partner for our students from application to graduation. You will guide them through their academic journey, helping them overcome obstacles and ensuring they have access to the resources they need to succeed.

As a senior member of the team, you will also have the opportunity to train, mentor, and support other team members. Your experience and expertise will be invaluable in guiding your colleagues and contributing to the overall goals of the team.

Position Requirements

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander cultures, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively.

Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in information systems and Microsoft software applications.

Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills, with an understanding of the needs of culturally diverse communities.

Exceptional time management, organisational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
