Akooramak Care of the Older Person is looking for Direct Care Workers- to assist with the care of our much-loved residents.

Our clients have a mix of high and low care needs.

Our residential care service has a variety of shifts available including AM, PM, and Weekend shifts on a rotating basis.

Night duty shifts also available.

We have shifts available in our Dementia Support Unit for the right candidate.

Do you have a passion for working in Aged Care? Do you want to work in an established team?

During your day you will:

Provide personal care and physical and emotional support to residents who require assistance with daily living.

Participate in the development and review of person centred care plans; complete charting and report any observed changes to the Registered Nurse.

Maintain the personal dignity and privacy of our residents, their representatives and staff

Support and assist in the provision of a comfortable, safe and secure environment for everyone;

Undertake and complete tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurses

You will bring:

What we need from you

Your experience and qualifications for this role should include:

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care) or Certificate III in Aged Care- or working towards;

Current National Police Check or the ability to obtain.
