The Opportunity

Peregian Springs Country Club is a large retirement living community, home to 230+ independent living villas and assisted living apartments. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide high-quality personal care, social support and daily assistance to residents within their Aveo home. Our Personal Care Attendants have a strong focus on wellbeing, promoting independence, building social connection and assisting with day-to-day tasks. If you have a background in Home Care or Community Care, make the switch to retirement living!

We are actively building up a pool of casual Personal Care Attendants. Earliest shift time commences at 7am, latest shifts finish at 8pm (approx.). Apply today and we will be in touch as we continue to expand our team!

You will

  • Work independently within resident villas or units to complete in-home care including personal hygiene, house cleaning, laundry and more!
  • Interact with residents within their homes or spend time out in the community completing daily activities (e.g driving them to appointments)
  • Provide care, tailored to the resident's care needs in line with their current care plans
  • Supporting residents with recreational and social activities
  • Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents
  • Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date

What you will bring

  • Experience within a Support Worker or Personal Care position, with a passion for community care, independent living and wellbeing. Please note - this is not Residential Aged Care.
  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required)
  • Valid drivers license + vehicle (required)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate and two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
  • Current Police Check clearance (required, however we can complete for you)
