The Role:

You’ll take the lead on client relationships and act as a trusted advisor, not just a number cruncher. You’ll review and guide junior accountants, oversee complex compliance work, and support managers and partners with business advisory engagements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of SME and high-net-worth clients
  
  
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, and FBT
  
  
• Providing strategic tax planning and structuring advice
  
  
• Mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work
  
  
• Assisting in business advisory and value-add projects
  
  
• Ensuring compliance with ATO, ASIC, and other statutory requirements
  
  

What You'll Need:

• CA/CPA qualification (or near completion)
  
  
• 4+ years experience in public practice accounting
  
  
• Solid working knowledge of Australian tax legislation
  
  
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
  
  
• Experience using Xero, MYOB, and cloud-based systems
