About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction projects in the Balgowlah, NSW area. As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position based in Balgowlah.

What you'll be doing

Coordinating and supervising all on-site construction activities, including overseeing subcontractors and managing the project schedule

Ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process

Communicating regularly with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress

Preparing detailed reports on project status, costs, and any variances from the original plan

Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Providing mentorship and guidance to junior members of the construction team

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry

Strong working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment

Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and drawings

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders

Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve project goals
