We are seeking warm, friendly, and experienced Residential Carer from active members of local communities who are enthusiastic and energetic, and who ideally have a passion for aged care. Residential Carer's provide personal care for our low, high care and residents. You will provide service in line with their individual care plans ensuring they live a life full of dignity and respecting individual rights.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality care and support tasks to residents as per care plans.
• Ensure all allocated work tasks are completed through effective prioritisation.
• Ensure the quality of care and support delivered to residents meets set standards.
• Ensure incidents/events affecting residents/facility are reported to Management.
• Ensure skills and competencies are developed and assessed with areas for improvement or opportunities for development, identified and actioned. Comply with legislation and Goodwin policy/procedures and practices.
• Maintain Goodwin's culture of continuous improvement in the delivery of services.
• Contribute to improving the overall care support operations delivered by Goodwin.
• Ensure evidence to support resident claims is properly documented.
• Maintain and promote Goodwin's reputation as a quality aged care provider.
• Maintain the customer service culture and present professionally to all people.

Good To Have Experience:

• A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care/Home and Community Care) or similar is highly desirable. If not already completed, you must be willing to attain it within the terms of your agreement.
• Medication Assist Qualifications
• Experience as a Carer (Residential)
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders
