About The Role!
The Workplace Relations Support Officer is the perfect role for someone looking to kick-start their career in Industrial Relations! Working closely with our Workplace Relations Advisor in the People, Culture & Member Engagement Team, you will contribute to the preparation of various resources, conduct research on workplace relations and small business matters, and respond to queries from our members and stakeholders. This role is a part-time, ongoing opportunity and is based at the Guild’s National Secretariat in Canberra.
About You!
You are someone who wants to make a difference with their work, always looking for ways to improve processes and learn.
Your communication skills shine through in your ability to liaise with various groups of people from staff to trades people to our members. You will be able to tailor your approach to members, internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders.
You will be able to put your excellent research and writing skills into practice in drafting submissions, briefings, papers, correspondence and more.
Experience in a similar role isn’t essential but appreciated. We are more interested in your ability to give us an idea on how you would add value to our team through this role.
This role would be well suited to those studying in law, business, or a related field looking to kick-start their career!
