Up to $250,000 base + super + STI + Equity

This private industrial engineering business has been growing steadily and boasts a client list of Tier 1 operators. With recent investment from a growth equity firm, they are continuing to expand their footprint nationally, hence require a growth focused CFO to join them on the journey.

This is a key role partnering with the CEO and Board to execute on growth ambitions, as well as building the internal finance infrastructure (people, process & systems) to ensure data integrity and provide insight to support decision making. The mandate is ‘execution at pace to capitalize on opportunities.’ This is a 360 CFO role delivering on: Operations; ensuring the platform is solid to enable growth (M&A) acquire, integrate and scale. Investor support: keeping the PE board fully informed. Exit: ultimate preparation and sale of the business.

You should be a CFO/GM Finance/FD with experience in SME businesses across engineering or manufacturing. Exposure to PE driven growth is ideal, but not mandatory. You should be ‘hands-on’ and comfortable in a lean team environment but also have the requisite commercial and strategic skills to add value as the business grows. You should be confident in front of boards, any experience to external investor boards will be advantageous. You are driven, energetic, incisive and concise – able to cut through the detail to identify the problem or capitalize on the opportunity.
