Insurance Assessor Administrator
Rate: $30 - $35 an hour (pending experience) plus super!
Type: Temporary to Permanent Assignment
Hours: Full-time (flexible - open to PT)
Location: Cardiff

Hays has partnered with a well-established business based in Cardiff. Known for their commitment to quality and customer service, they specialise in comprehensive caravan repairs, including insurance work, timber frame restoration, mechanical servicing, and accessory installations.

Your new role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the intake of caravans into the workshop for insurance claims processing.
  • Inspecting incoming caravans and documenting condition with detailed photographs.
  • Assessing insurance coverage and preparing cost breakdowns for repairs and client charges.
  • Liaising with insurance companies and clients to clarify coverage and billing details.
  • Performing accurate data entry and maintaining up-to-date records in internal systems.
  • Providing professional and friendly customer service, both in person and over the phone.
  • Supporting workshop operations with general administrative tasks as required.
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures and insurance documentation standards.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous administration experience is essential.
  • Prior experience in motor insurance claims or similar is highly desirable.
  • Strong computer skills and confidence using multiple systems, including PNet, Outlook, and Eclipse.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Clear communication skills and a professional approach to customer service.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
