We are a leading provider of Electrical & Mechanical Services, Refrigeration, and AC Maintenance serving the Cairns, Tablelands, Cooktown, and Cape regions.

We are looking for a skilled electrician to join our team.

The Role

This role is ideal for someone who has several years of hands-on experience, and is ready to take on diverse electrical projects. This position has an element of away work (generally 1 to 2 weeks at a time).

Experience with commercial electrical is required, mechanical services experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial, and industrial settings.

Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostic tests.

Collaborate with other trades and contractors on larger projects.

Manage and prioritize tasks efficiently, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to OHS standards.

Work with and mentor apprentices, guiding them through their development.

Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth operations.

About You:

Several years of experience as a qualified electrician, ideally with roots in North Queensland.

Strong communication and time management skills.

Ability to work in remote locations.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on safety and quality.

Must have the following qualifications: QBCC Occupational Licence, Electrical Licence, Driver’s Licence, White Card, Blue Card, CPR, and

Additional certifications such as EWP, Confined Space, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Heights certification and a clear police record are highly desirable.
