Lead, Optimise, and Influence in a High-Growth Commercial Solar Company

We are an established company in the large commercial solar space, known for delivering tailored, results-driven energy solutions to industrial, retail, and commercial clients across Australia.

As we continue to scale and refine our offering, we are seeking a Senior Commercial Solar Expert to join our team and take ownership of complex system design, quoting, and product strategy for high-value commercial clients.

This is a high-level strategic role for a seasoned expert. You will not be trained in this position – you’ll be relied upon for your existing industry knowledge, technical expertise, and market insight.

What You’ll Do

Take ownership of technical system design and custom quoting for large and complex commercial solar projects.

Provide expert advice to internal teams on optimal system configurations, ROI modelling, and product selection.

Stay across all current and upcoming government incentives, rebates, STCs, and LGCs to maximise client value.

Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies to continuously sharpen our commercial offering.

Collaborate with leadership to enhance proposals, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies.

Advise on battery storage integration, grid requirements, and emerging regulatory changes.

Serve as a key technical resource for both internal stakeholders and external clients.

What You’ll Bring

Significant hands-on experience in commercial or industrial solar.

Deep understanding of technical design, energy yield analysis, and complex quoting.

Up-to-date knowledge of rebates, tariffs, solar certifications, and the evolving regulatory environment.

A strategic mindset and the ability to translate technical expertise into commercial outcomes.

Strong communication and presentation skills—comfortable speaking with both clients and internal teams.

No formal qualifications required—we value proven experience over paperwork.
