THE ROLE

Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Town Planner to join their Gold Coast team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a people-centric planning and design consultancy that delivers impactful outcomes across a range of local and regional projects in South East Queensland.
In this role, you’ll manage a variety of planning projects, build and maintain strong client relationships, and ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

DUTIES

Preparing and lodging development applications, interpreting and applying planning legislation (including the Planning Act 2016), and contributing to tenders, submissions, and strategic planning documents.

The ideal candidate is confident, proactive, and an excellent communicator with a genuine passion for creating positive planning outcomes. You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team culture that values independence, initiative, and teamwork.

ABOUT YOU

• Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning
• Minimum 4 years’ industry experience
• Strong knowledge of SEQ and Gold Coast planning frameworks
• Familiarity with development assessment processes under the Planning Act 2016
• Proven project management and client liaison experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Australian residency required
