About the role
Casual opportunity to assist in the provision of a high quality nutrition and food service to patients/clients of the hospital by assisting in the preparation, plating, presentation, and delivery of meals/food service, in accordance with established nutritional, dietetic and quality procedures whilst adhering to and maintaining Queensland Health's guidelines.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Responsible for cleaning duties in allocated areas as part of direct duties or to assist staff. This can include ward kitchens, main kitchen, store rooms and cold and freezer rooms.
- Ability to use technological devices to monitor work processes and workflow.
- Participate in mandatory training and other training programs for Food Services staff, including but not limited to nutrition, food safety, personal hygiene, use of technology and service behaviour.
