About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Engineer. Reporting to the Project Engineer and relevant senior management team. The role will entail enough autonomy to drive and execute each project yet be provided with ongoing support from your line managers. We pride ourselves in an inclusive and supportive workplace environment. Organising and directing site labour and the delivery of construction materials, plant and equipment, and establishing detailed programs for the coordination of site activities

Co-ordinate daily activities and act as a point of escalation for critical and non-critical events.

Assist in the management of Site Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements

Tracking of daily progress, cost and productivity report

Contribute to construction programs and lookaheads

Monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, and measuring, valuing and negotiating variations to designs

Engage with commercial interface associated with project requirements

Establish and maintain relationships subcontractors, suppliers and clients where required

Contribute and collaborate with Tenders Team.

Skills, Qualifications & Other Requirements

Tertiary qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent

Relevant construction and infrastructure experience. Minimum 1 year experience

Experience with a tier 1 or 2 contractor would be beneficial

Relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation + vehicle

Vehicle + fuel card

Based in Mascot office and onsite

Current driver’s licence
