Finn Valley is seeking a Site Engineer to join our team in Newcastle and the Upper Hunter Region. The role involves supporting project delivery across a range of civil construction works, including road, drainage, earthworks, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Ability to Highlight and raise Risk & Issues - Provide Solutions to resolve & over come

Effectively Strategies & Plan the works with the Construction Team

Setup & Execution of the Forecasting, scheduling & procurement of Resources & Materials in line with the project specification.

Provide Support to the Onsite construction team - Issue technical advice interpret & ensure compliance is maintained to the Technical specifications of the Project.

Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to keep project on track, Relay the Reporting to the project Manager

Collaborate with the Client, Consultants & design team to raise, review ,optimise & overcome site issues, engineering solutions, variations and other contract concerns.

Development and Daily execution of maintaining thorough records to Monitor Quality, Safety & Environmental Compliance to the Project.

Opportunity to work with the Finn Valley Construction team in tender preparations.

Strong understanding or Maintaining Company HSEQ Policies and Procedures and Assist with enforcement at a site level. Work with the HSEQ team to ensure site compliance is maintained.

About You:

Minimum 3 years post graduate

Civil #1 or structural #2 engineer, ideally with a strong site-based background.

Previous Civil Infrastructure experience on projects ranging from $2 million - $10 million

Ability to work both in a Team and Independently

Local and State Government Experience.

Strong Communication Skills .
