We have a great opportunity in our Hoxton Park store for a Store Manager in Training. This role will suit an already experienced retail manager, looking to work in a great brand while also growing your retail career!

The role of Store Manager in Training allows an already experienced retail leader to accelerate their management career!

The ideal candidate will be passionate about Inventory and Stock management and be looking for an opportunity to demonstrate your retail inventory management experience. You will be currently in an Assistant Store manager or Store Manager role in a retail environment looking for the next opportunity to accelerate your retail career.

You will also be a hands on, people focused, talented retail leader who is hands on with the team and can create and maintain a positive team culture.

You will be willing to work across neighbouring stores as required.

We are looking for someone who can develop, engage and inspire a talented team and create an outstanding service offering.

Are you?

A leader with a "hands on" approach to all aspects of your role.

Passionate about retail- with a strong retail/hospitality management background. Minimum 1 year of retail or hospitality management (or similar) experience in a similar fast paced environment is essential

Strong retail inventory management experience, with experience in dealing with automated ordering systems will be highly regarded

A proven ability to personally deliver outstanding customer service, with a passion for people and pets!

Great with people and like to have FUN at work!

Proven ability to lead a team, while keeping the team engaged , happy and focused on achieving results

Great at demonstrating amazing service skills with an outstanding "customer is everything" approach

The ability to drive KPI's

Have strong merchandising and inventory skills

Your primary objective will be:

To work with your team in delivering sales and KPI objectives

To provide an outstanding service offering

Implementing employee rosters and create a dynamic self sufficient team

Control all cost of doing business areas

Mentor and lead a team to customer service excellence

You must be an experienced retail manager with at least two years' experience in retail management with a true love of animals.

You must be able to work a flexible retail roster (Tuesday to Saturday- or Sunday to Thursday) You must be flexible and available to work either roster.
