Wildflowers Early Learning Lake Coogee is seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Cook to join our vibrant team. This part-time position ( over 5 days) offers a wonderful opportunity to create nutritious and delicious meals for the children in our care which will be prepared in our commercial kitchen. What You’ll Be Doing

• Plan, prepare, and serve healthy, balanced meals and snacks for the children attending our service.

• Ensure all food preparation and storage meet health and safety regulations.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.

• Collaborate with the educators and families to accommodate dietary requirements, allergies, and preferences.

• Participate in menu planning and recipe creation to ensure variety and nutrition.

• Monitor stock levels and manage supplier relationships to maintain pantry supplies.

What We’re Looking For

• Relevant qualifications and experience as a cook, particularly with children’s meal preparation.

• Strong knowledge of nutrition, food safety, and hygiene standards.

• Exceptional time management and organisational skills to work efficiently in a busy environment.

• A collaborative team player who communicates effectively with staff and families.

• A genuine passion for providing children with high-quality, nourishing meals.
