Our client, an Electrical Contractor, is looking for a proactive and hands-on leader to manage on-site electrical operations for their reputable commercial construction clients across the Northern Gold Coast. They have a fantastic reputation in Australia.

Your new role

You'll be hands-on with the work and be involved with overseeing day-to-day team management, coordinate with subcontractors, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and keep tight schedules on track. Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation across large-scale commercial sites
• Lead by example on the work and motivate teams and subcontractors
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure WHS compliance
• Work closely with Project Managers and Site Supervisors
• Monitor progress and resolve issues swiftly
• Interpret plans and ensure installations meet specifications

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in this role, you will have to successfully lead more junior staff or be ready to take the next step to do so. You will have at least 5 years' experience as an Estimator in the Commercial Construction, Trades or Maintenance industry. You will also:

• Minimum 5+ years' experience working in commercial construction.
• Experience in a leading hand or foreman role, someone ready to take the step-up to lead is encouraged to apply.
• Worked on projects with a value of $50M + in value.
• Solid understanding of AS/NZS wiring rules and construction site safety
• Experience with large Tier 2 commercial projects
• Trade certification and QLD Electrical licence are essential.
