An opportunity exists in our Medical Pathology Laboratory to gain experience, accept responsibility, and perform and authorise both routine and urgent laboratory tests. Your ability to efficiently manage a busy workload and accurately report test results in a timely manner will play an important role in assisting medical staff in the clinical management of patients.

Territory Pathology has an ongoing full time position for a suitably qualified and experienced Laboratory Scientist (Professional 1 / Professional 2 based on experience) in the Alice Springs Hospital (ASH) laboratory. The position responsibilities include participation in a 24/7 multidisciplinary Core Lab rotation. Territory Pathology, Alice Springs provides on-site testing in Chemical Pathology, Haematology, Blood Transfusion, Microbiology, Serology and Molecular Biology. This position is an excellent opportunity to further your career in a NATA accredited multi-discipline laboratory. Appointment will be based upon the applicant’s technical skills, knowledge and work experience. Applicants who are dedicated to high standards, accept responsibility for their on-going professional development and are willing to step up when the situation requires are encouraged to apply.
