About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced IV Nurse to train up as a Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Operator and join our team at Hyperbaric O2 Gold Coast in Worongary, Queensland. This is a casual role, offering you the flexibility to balance your work and personal life. As a Hyperbaric Chamber Operator and IV Nurse, you will play a vital role in administering hyperbaric oxygen therapy and intravenous treatments to our clients, with a focus on natural and alternative medicine. Must be fastidious with an eye for detail, problem solving abilities and ability to keep calm and in control during busy times. Training will occur during work times for becoming a Hyperbaric Chamber Operator. Good people skills and management qualities as you will often be working autonomously. Previous experience with Cannulation and IV is necessary unless you are prepared to train and gain experience prior to starting your role with us. We are currently looking for someone available on Mondays and Wednesdays. More days may become available but to start immediately on Mondays and Wednesdays.

What you'll be doing

Operate and maintain hyperbaric chambers to provide safe and effective treatments

Administer intravenous therapies and monitor patients during treatments

Ensure all medical equipment and supplies are in good working order and well-stocked

Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service

Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation

Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to deliver integrated care

Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

What we're looking for

Registered Nurse (Division 1) with experience in hyperbaric medicine and/or intravenous therapy

Strong understanding of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and its therapeutic applications

Excellent patient care and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards

Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or certifications in hyperbaric nursing or alternative medicine
