Key responsibilities:
As part of an extraordinary team of Operational Leaders you will take on the responsibility of coordinating operational logistics and planning for various installations and dismantles across all market segments throughout Australia.
Put simply this is the glue that guarantees exceptional execution, ensuring the right staff with the right skill have the right equipment to deliver on project outcomes.
Requirements of the role:
The role will require the successful applicant to be driven by working in a flexible and rapidly changing environment and thrive on finding innovate solutions to logistical problems.
Although the role is primarily based in Melbourne, interstate travel, weekend and work outside of normal business hours may be required.
Responsibilities:
The focus of the role is to stream line communications between site managers, site crew, warehouse crew and project managers. Constant communication with the operations crew to ensure all information, changes and or updates are received across the team
To manage the back of house logistics of Spacecube installations and ensuring all crew, plant & equipment (including but not limited to fork, boom, crane), transport and various operational assets are delivered on schedule within customer expectations.
To oversee travel requirements for our crews across Australia including flights, accommodation, vehicle bookings and any changes.
Ensure logistics are effectively and efficiently minimising and impacts to budget and ensure cost controls of each specific job to ensure it meets desired outcomes.
Ensure that SWMS, Safety Plans and inductions have been completed and submitted to clients in a timely manner and loaded into venue systems as needed.
Schedule transport across projects and process invoices as required.
Interpret build plans and flag any inconsistencies, issues or other operational elements to ensure planning is conducted deliver required outcomes.
Contribute to compliance and safety environment for each specific job having the ability to identify hazards and various risk mitigations within the bounds of Spacecube Safety Management systems.
Identify process or systems to improve efficiency, safety and/or financial outcomes
As part of the role you will be responsible for ensuring required elements of our systems are implemented across our teams including administering IT systems such as deputy, WHS Online and Smartsheet.
Skills & Experience
To be considered, you must:
Ideally have experience in event/exhibition/commercial installation and dismantle.
Have experience using and operating hand and power tools.
Have attention to detail with a can-do attitude.
Able to work in demanding timelines and schedules to meet client deadlines.
Be a team player and embody the Spacecube values.
Construction industry white card.
Able to read and interpret plans.
Developing and implementing a timeline / schedule to achieve targets.
Communicate clearly and confidently

Solid negotiation skills
Be neatly presented.
Have a good work ethic and attitude.
Have a flexible approach to work.
