About the role

Loan Processor is seeking a talented Credit Analyst to join our team in Tarneit, VIC 3029. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our Mortgages business, providing expert financial analysis and assessments to support our lending decisions. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth of our organisation.

NON-NEGOTIABLE SKILLS:

Strong understanding of loan structures and lender servicing

Assessing the borrower’s funding position for a property purchase

Analysing and researching bank policies and credit policies for lender options that align with borrower needs and objectives

Ability to complete lender servicing calculators

Packaging and submitting customer applications to lenders, ensuring that all supporting documents are collected and compliant with lender credit requirements

Fulfillment of lender MIRs and conditional approvals

Key Responsibilities:

Process mortgage loan applications from data entry to submission and final settlement

Ensure compliance with all disclosure requirements and meet industry standards

Complete application processes, including grant applications, discharge forms, and First Home Owner Grant submissions

Review loan documents and application materials for accuracy and completeness (verify income, assets, and credit consumer reports)

Coordinate with borrowers, brokers, and lender stakeholders to gather required documentation and resolve any outstanding requirements

Complete complex income calculations for PAYG and self-employed income

Use servicing calculators and lender portals to ensure accurate loan calculations

Handle pricing requests across multiple lenders for both new and existing loans

Utilize software applications such as Apply On Line, Simplology, and Loan App to streamline loan processing
