About the Role
Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer Specialists and Senior Test Analysts to drive the end-to-end test automation strategy and guide the implementation of tools and frameworks. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership in automation, deep domain knowledge in insurance or superannuation, and the ability to work closely with technical and business teams to ensure high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and implement test automation frameworks across UI, API, database, and mobile platforms.
• Define automation strategy, tools, and best practices for multi-platform environments.
• Conduct feasibility analysis and recommend fit-for-purpose tools such as Playwright or UI-Path.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Drive defect lifecycle management and regression testing.
• Collaborate with clients, developers, and QA teams to deliver integrated quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain testing standards.
• Support deployments, shift-based activities, and on-call incident response when needed.

What You Need to Succeed

• Australian Citizenship (mandatory due to secure project requirements).
• Proven experience in the insurance or superannuation sector.
• Strong hands-on skills in test automation – UI, API, DB, mobile – using Playwright or UI-Path.
• Experience in defining automation strategy, building frameworks, and selecting tools.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Solid understanding of application architecture and development practices.
• Strong knowledge of defect tracking, test documentation, and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage directly with stakeholders.
