Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

About the Role:
Policy Officer – Position No. 00000963
The Policy Officer, Tobacco Policy contributes to the development and implementation of strategic public health policy, particularly in relation to tobacco control and chronic disease prevention. The person in this role also undertakes research and policy analyses on issues relevant to tobacco control and chronic disease prevention. They will also assist in preparation and coordination of submissions, discussion papers, reports, briefings and correspondence.
Research and Evaluation Officer – Position No. 00009570
The Research and Evaluation Officer, Strategic Policy and Performance supports and provides high-level advice regarding evaluation and research related to population and preventive health, and contributes to the development of population and preventive health policy, programs and projects.
