I'm partnering with a leading national retailer to find an experienced Store Manager for their Carlton location. This is a well-established showroom-style environment where service, product knowledge and leadership go hand-in-hand. The business operates with a strong customer-first philosophy, and the store also offers in-home consultations - supported by a company car assigned to the Store Manager for team use.

This is an opportunity for a confident, hands-on leader who brings structure, energy and a strong operational foundation. You might come from a background in lighting, furniture, tools, hardware, paint, design or interiors - but what matters most is your ability to lead a team and drive store performance.

What you'll be doing

Managing the day-to-day operations of the Carlton store, including sales, service, stock and safety

Leading and motivating a team to deliver high-quality customer experiences and consultative selling

Driving KPIs and ensuring all team members are coached on performance, product and service standards

Overseeing merchandising, promotional execution and inventory accuracy

Supporting and scheduling in-home consults, with use of the company vehicle

Reporting into and working closely with area management and head office stakeholders

Who you are

An experienced retail Store Manager with strong operational and team leadership skills

You may have come from a design, interiors, lighting, paint, tools or showroom-based retail background

Confident leading a consultative selling process and helping customers solve real-world home solutions

Comfortable with setting clear expectations, managing results and coaching your team daily

Strong attention to detail across stock, safety and presentation standards

You have full availability for a roster that includes every Wednesday off and alternating weekends
