As the Nurse Clinical Specialist, you will work with the Specialist Nursing team and wider Primary Health Care teams to provide culturally appropriate, evidence-based Continence care to adults and children, including triaging, clinical service provision, resourcing, advice and education, early identification and treatment, primary prevention and promotion of positive health behaviours across the lifespan.

To be successful, you will:

Hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or be eligible for the same.

Have a Graduate Certificate beyond entry-to-practice relevant to specialty the area.

Demonstrate highly developed clinical knowledge and skills in a relevant area of nursing/midwifery relating to this vacancy, supporting well developed clinical decision-making and problem solving to achieve best practice healthcare outcomes.

Have experience contributing to the development and implementation of local/regional policy, including interpreting established professional precedents and organisational policies and supporting change management.

Be required to hold an NT Drivers Licence and a current vaccination certificate to fulfil the responsibilities of the position.
