We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Department of Education-approved driver to join the Assisted School Travel Program (ASTP). This important role involves transporting students with additional needs to and from school each day.

Location: Routes will vary but will be within close proximity to the driver’s residence.

Schedule: Morning and afternoon school transport runs (Monday to Friday, school terms only).

Driver Responsibilities:

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) number

Have English language skills sufficient for safe and clear communication

Be cleared by the ASTP before commencing

Be medically fit to hold a current driver’s licence

Maintain a clean driving record

Carry official driver identification at all times

Adhere to the assigned run card(s)

Demonstrate a high standard of professionalism

Work respectfully and collaboratively with an Assisted Travel Support Officer (ATSO) to support students’ safety and wellbeing during transport
