About the role

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at IM WITH YOU' in Evanston SA 5116. This is a part-time position where you'll play a vital role in supporting our elderly and disabled clients with their daily living activities.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting

Providing domestic support including light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation

Accompanying and transporting clients to medical appointments, social activities, and community events

Monitoring clients' wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns to the care team

Engaging clients in meaningful social interaction and recreational activities

Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

What we're looking for

A minimum of 3 year of experience working as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role within the Aged & Disability Support industry

A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine commitment to enhancing the quality of life for elderly and disabled individuals

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families

A current First Aid certificate and a valid driver's licence

Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

A strong understanding of Aged & Disability Support industry regulations and best practices
