Adelaide Quality Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Worker to join our team on a casual basis. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality personal care and support to elderly and disabled clients across the Adelaide region—helping them live with dignity, independence, and improved wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

Support clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping and other daily activities

Offer companionship and encourage social interaction to enhance wellbeing

Monitor and report any changes in clients’ physical or emotional health

Follow care plans and adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards

What We’re Looking For

A genuine passion for supporting elderly and disabled individuals

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

A commitment to delivering compassionate, person-centred care

Essential Requirements

Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged and/or Disability) OR at least your 1st Nursing placement completed

Current National Police Clearance

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Manual Handling Certificate

Medication Competency Certificate

First Aid & CPR Certificate

Hand Hygiene Certificate

A full Australian driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance (you will be required to use your own vehicle to travel to and from shifts).

What We Offer

Shifts are rostered around your availability to suit your lifestyle

Paid travel time and kilometres between shifts paid at .99c per km

Shifts range from 1 to 12 hours, depending upon client requirements
