Technical Lead – Frontend Applications

Our leading insurance client is embarking on a major digital transformation to build a best-in-class member experience platform for their customers.

We’re looking for a Tech Lead to guide the architecture, design and delivery of new frontend digital web and mobile applications, that will shape the future of how they interact with their customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead twenty engineers across three cross-functional squads (plus BAs, QAs, POs, and Salesforce engineers)

Architect and deliver customer-facing web applications using ReactJS, NextJS, AWS, Terraform, and MuleSoft

Oversee the transition away from theri current environment, building scalable and mobile-ready platforms tailored to B2B2C client needs

Work directly with external partners, shaping roadmaps and managing tactical vs. strategic priorities in a time-sensitive delivery window

Drive CI/CD, DevOps and modern delivery practices to get features into production quickly

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a technical leader in frontend application delivery

Strong background in frontend architecture and design principles for web and mobile platforms

Experience in customer-facing applications and CX frameworks

Background in consulting or managing external clients is highly desirable

Demonstrated ability to prioritise delivery, manage iterative releases, and lead teams through build-and-operate models

Cloud-native engineering experience, with a strong grasp of CI/CD, DevOps and infrastructure as code.
