About the role

We are seeking passionate and caring Support Workers to join our dynamic team at Gleam Team Domestic Services'. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing domestic assistance and shopping support to our aged clients in the Adelaide metro area. We are seeking applicants in the North/North-East and Western suburbs of Adelaide.

This is an important position that contributes to the wellbeing and independence of our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily domestic tasks such as light cleaning, changing bed linen, hanging laundry, etc.

Occasionally accompanying clients on grocery shopping trips and helping them with their shopping needs

Providing companionship and social support to clients, promoting their independence and quality of life

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to client services

Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar aged care or disability support role, preferably within the community services industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients

A caring, compassionate, and patient approach when working with vulnerable clients

A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle

A current National Police Clearance

A current First Aid Certificate is mandatory for any staff taking clients shopping.
