Job Opportunity: Domestic Support Workers for In-Home Care Services (Immediate Start)

Location: inner Southern Suburbs of Adelaide

Support Staff is seeking compassionate, experienced domestic support workers to provide essential cleaning services for older adults and those recovering from illness in their homes. If you are dedicated to helping others and have a strong attention to detail, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Provide cleaning services for older adults within their homes in the Inner Southern suburbs of Adelaide

Perform a variety of domestic duties, including general house cleaning and light tidying

Ensure a safe and hygienic environment to support clients' daily needs

Opportunity to work with the same client regularly

Flexibility to manage multiple homes per day

What We're Looking For:

Reliability: Must be dependable, with a strong commitment to attending scheduled appointments

Caring and Compassionate Nature: The role requires a genuine desire to help and support older adults

Experience: Prior experience in domestic cleaning and an understanding of the needs of seniors

Ability to work independently, with flexible hours available (Monday – Friday between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Additional Information:

This is a casual employee role, with entitlements under the relevant award

Employees are covered by our insurance and are provided with regular work – you will not be required to find your own clients

Requirements:

Proven experience in domestic cleaning

Compassionate, patient, and understanding approach when supporting older adults

Access to a reliable vehicle and current driver's license

Current Police Clearance/DCSI certificate

Manual Handling Certificate

First Aid Certificate

Current Flu Vaccination (proof required)

COVID-19 Vaccination

Availability to work flexible hours as needed
