About the role

Join a supportive and collaborative team at Gawler Health Service, Forgie Surgical Ward, where you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic and rewarding clinical environment. We’re looking for an experienced and adaptable Registered Nurse who thrives on challenge and is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. In this role, you’ll provide direct nursing care and manage individual patient cases on a shift-by-shift basis. You'll assess patient needs and plan, coordinate or implement care using a range of clinical options to support the best possible outcomes.

Positions available:

  • Temporary part time working 54 hours per fortnight (0.72FTE) until 1 August 2026
  • Temporary part time working 32 hours per fortnight (0.42FTE) until 8 October 2026
  • Temporary part time working 64 hours per fortnight (0.84FE) until 6 March 2026

What else do you need to know/what is essential for success?

Working in this environment, it is important to us that we only employ people with the upmost integrity and commitment to serving the South Australian community and its visitors to the highest possible standards. To ensure that we meet that commitment there are a few checks that you will be required to undertake.
