Locations: West Kimberley (Broome, Derby, Fitzroy Crossing) & East Kimberley (Kununurra and Halls Creek).

The Opportunity

As a Child Safety Practitioner or Senior Child Safety Practitioner, you will be responsible for engaging with children and families to promote and ensure their safety and wellbeing. This may include undertaking investigative actions to assess the safety and wellbeing of a child/ren, partnering with families and services to address child protection issues and strengthen family function, enhance victim-survivor safety through coordinating collaborative responses, or working with a childs care team to enhance the wellbeing of children in the care of the CEO.

As a Senior Child Safety Practitioner you will also work closely with your Team Leader to provide advice and guidance to members of your team on case practice responses, having evidenced further experience, expertise, knowledge and skills in child protection practices.

Qualification Requirements

You must have a Tertiary qualification or equivalent qualification as stated on the attached JDF (via Jobs WA) for the relevant role. All overseas qualifications must be assessed for Australian equivalency.
