Our firm covers the spectrum of family law matters including children custody arrangements, de-facto relations, property matters, spousal maintenance, financial agreements together with asset protection, estate planning, probate, wills and powers of attorneys and conveyancing.

About the role

Our firm requires an experienced and enthusiastic full time Family Lawyer to join our team. Alongside the support of our growing family law team the successful candidate will also have access to a family law paralegal. To be successful in this role you must be admitted to practice and have at least 3 years’ experience in family law as a practicing Lawyer. You will be required to work semi autonomously and have conduct of your own files under the supervision of a senior solicitor.

Skills & Experience

Ability to manage your own files including appearances at associated hearings;

Ability to draft all relevant family law documents;

Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills;

Excellent time management skills, the ability to be proactive and use initiative;

An ability to work autonomously and as a team with a willingness to take instructions;

Good energy and professionalism with a love for working with clients in a positive and supportive way;

High integrity and honesty including working within a strong family law team environment;

Proficiency in Smokeball (iCloud) is highly regarded.
