We’re currently looking for experienced female disability support workers based in Brisbane for immediate and upcoming shifts. These roles focus on supporting participants with psychosocial disabilities to build independence, confidence and connection in their everyday lives.

As a Disability Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in helping people achieve their NDIS goals through personalised support, community access, emotional wellbeing and practical daily routines.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 12 months of experience in disability or mental health support

Qualification in Disability Support, Mental Health or a related field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Confidence working with psychosocial disability and complex needs

Current First Aid Certificate

Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Strong English reading and writing skills

Reliable, values-driven and ethically minded

A kind, professional and compassionate approach

Comfortable working around pets

Your Role

Provide personalised support focused on routine, structure and confidence-building

Assist with access to the community, appointments and social activities

Offer calm, consistent support for emotional regulation

Help with daily living tasks such as light cleaning and meal prep

Keep accurate notes and report changes or concerns

Create safe, respectful and empowering environments

Work in line with Care Compass policies and NDIS Practice Standards
