About the role

As the leading hand, you will be pivotal in your team delivering projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will offer a strong mix of skills in either the height safety industry or with a strong background in metal roofing. You will be part of a dedicated and energetic team where you are willing to learn.

The role requires the successful candidate to be a true leader and lead by example in all aspects of the project installation. This involves but is not limited to the management of your team to deliver on installation projects in a range of height safety products including: Access platforms, Ladder systems, Abseil Monorail systems, Anchor Points, Static Lines, Walkways, Handrails and Hatches to a variety of buildings on existing buildings and construction sites.

The desired criteria is as per the following:

Previous experience in the installation of height safety products and the knowledge of applicable Australian Standards highly regarded

Experience in Metal Roofing highly regarded

Be a true leader and lead by example

Proven 1-2 years experience in leading, motivating and maintaining a energetic and safe work environment

Be able to read and interpret plans and drawings

Ability to work to a timeline

Have current drivers license

A construction trade background (white card essential)

Have a safety first mindset

Ability to review SWMS and advise on WHS risks

Experience in working at heights

Demonstrated quality driven work
